Ditech Networks is a leader in network voice enhancement and voicemail to text services.  Our voice systems are deployed worldwide and are used by hundreds of millions of people every day.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for strong candidates to work on Ditech's proprietary voice offerings, focused largely on continuous speech recognition (CSR) and Isolated Word Recognition (IWR).

Selected candidates will work within the speech processing group and will have a leadership role in defining and implementing the next generation of algorithms and systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• PhD in EE/CS or MS in EE/CS with 3+ years experience with a focus on CSR research (exceptions will be made for outstanding candidates)
• Experience with existing speech recognition systems, especially CSR's
• Experience with both acoustic models and language models.
• Strong understanding of DSP and Speech processing theory
• Expertise in Java and C/C++ and scripting languages like Perl, Python and JavaScript
• A degree of comfort in working in Unix/Linux environments and basic knowledge of distributed computing
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills
• Fluency in English and strong written and oral communication skills
• High levels of motivation with a can-do attitude
• Desire and ability to be a team player
